The Comox Valley Airport is designated as a Airport Of Entry/CANPASS or AOE(C) which is an airport of entry designated for CANPASS permit holders only. If you are travelling by air, there are two different CANPASS programs available to you to expedite your border clearance process at the Comox Valley Airport AOE(C):

CANPASS Corporate Aircraft
If your company operates aircraft that frequently flies directly into Canada from the United States.

CANPASS Private Aircraft
If you operate a private aircraft that often flies directly into Canada from the United States.
