YQQ to Celebrate WestJet's Tenth Anniversary

On June 10, 2011, the Comox Valley Airport Commission, WestJet, YQQ employees, volunteers, tenants and contractors will join representatives from the B.C. Government, CFB Comox, the City of Courtenay, Town of Comox, Village of Cumberland, the Comox Valley Regional District, local business leaders and community groups to celebrate WestJet’s tenth anniversary at the Comox Valley Airport.

"WestJet has played a key role in shaping the Comox Valley over the last decade with the establishment of direct flights to Calgary and Edmonton," said CEO Shirley de Silva. "This event is intended to thank WestJet and all of the groups in our community that have contributed to the great success of these airline routes."
