First Year Birthday Celebrations

On April 23, CVAC invited the community to celebrate the first year of operation of the new terminal facilities. Hundreds of people came out to tour the Airport, enjoy refreshments and enter their names for dozens of fantastic draw prizes. At the Official Welcome, Connie Stecyk from Transat Holidays announced that they will be adding Cancun as a second Mexican destination this coming winter. This news was welcomed by loud cheers and big smiles. Transat Holidays was so pleased with the 95% load factor on the Comox to Puerto Vallarta trips this past winter that they decided to add additional flights. *Sylvie Hatch from Transat Holidays, Betty & Peter Cartright are the happy winners of the Transat Holiday to Mexico*
