YQQ Reaches the 200,000 Passenger Mark!

On Tuesday December 20 CVAC celebrated the 200,000 passenger for 2005. The lucky and very surprised winner was Candace Pritchard of Courtenay, beginning her long journey to visit friends in Dubai. Presenting the gift basket, (filled with a wonderful selection of BC products from Mid -Island Gifts,)is CEO Chuck Fast. Checking Candace in is Deb White, CSA with Pacific Coastal Airlines. Passenger numbers for 2005 are up by 16% over the same time in 2004 and have easily surpassed the estimate of 200,000 passengers by the end of 2008.
