Arriving by vehicle

• Follow the Inland Island Highway (Highway 19) north to exit 117.
• Take exit 117. At the stop sign merge right towards Courtenay and Comox. Follow this road all the way to Cliffe Ave (the Old Island Highway), a T-junction.
• Turn left at the intersection.
• Follow Cliffe Ave to 17th street.
• Turn right at 17th street and cross the 17th street Bridge.
• The next intersection is another T-junction. Turn left.
• Follow this road to a major intersection (traffic lights - Superstore on your right). Turn right at the intersection (Ryan road)
• Follow Ryan road up the hill to a flat section (Home Depot on left) and keep going on Ryan road down a long hill until you arrive in front of CFB Comox (airforce base) at yet another T-junction. Turn right.
• Follow this road (Military Row) approximately two kilometers.
• Enter traffic circle and exit onto Knight Rd. The airport is on your left. (1250 Knight Rd)

• turn right at the airport entrance onto Knight Rd.
• turn right into the traffic circle and exit onto Military Row ( go approximately 2 kms)
• at the next stop sign turn left onto Ryan Rd.
• continue on Ryan Rd.( past Home Depot and down the hill) watching for signs that say Nanaimo
• turn left just past the Superstore complex following the road to the 17th St bridge where you will turn right
• while on the bridge get into the left hand turning lanes
• turn left onto Cliffe Ave. and continue to follow signage that will direct you to turn right onto 29th St connector
• after turning right onto the connector, continue until you see signs that direct you to Nanaimo (south) or Campbell River (north)
• Nanaimo is approximately 1.5 hrs south;
• If your destination is Port Alberni or the west coast watch for signs that past Horne Lake that will direct you to
• If your destination is Port Alberni/Ucluelet/Tofino watch for exit signs past Horne Lake that will direct you westward.

• turn right at the airport entrance onto Knight Rd.
• turn right into the traffic circle and exit onto Military Row ( go approximately 2 kms)
• at the next stop sign turn left onto Ryan Rd.
• follow Ryan Rd. until you come to Home Depot where you will turn right onto the Lerwick Connector
• follow Lerwick Connector to the traffic lights and turn right onto the highway #19 A (Old Island Highway)
• Campbell River is located approximately 45 kms north
